Online Landscape Designs Founder, Lead Landscape Designer, and Permaculture Consultant-Paige Payne

Paige Payne’s journey in landscape design began at the University of Georgia, where she studied horticulture. After graduation, she left the southern humidity for the cool Rocky Mountain air. She began maintaining public gardens in Crested Butte, Colorado and estate gardens in Boulder, Colorado. These experiences inspired her to earn both Master Gardener and Permaculture Design certifications. From there she began to undertake full-scale landscape design and installation management. For nearly two decades, she has worked with homeowners and contractors across the country to develop custom landscaping on a variety of projects. She has designed and managed the installation of landscapes from outdoor kitchen to water-wise yards. Whether it’s the aesthetics of the design or the nitty-gritty of the installation, Paige is experienced in every step in the process.

Paige focuses on sustainable landscape design, not just in her own projects, but also in her role as an educator. As an instructor with the Permaculture Women’s Guild, she specializes in capturing her students’ ideas in concise images that convey both big picture concepts, such as whole system design, and fine details, such as specific plant varieties for herb gardens and food forests. Paige empowers others to become skilled and confident permaculture designers that are able to take their ideas from inspiration to installation.
